Villa Pratesi
La Villa padronale, risalente al 1700, è situata all interno del borgo medievale, ed offre due appartamenti con piscina e parco ristrutturati ed arredati con il calore che contraddistingue la tradizione architettonica toscana.
Al loro interno sono rimasti oggetti intatti negli anni, come torchi per la lavorazione delle olive, quando i frantoi erano ancora nelle abitazioni, tavoli allungati per quando le famiglie erano patriarcali, mobili e comò in "arte povera", caminetti antichi in pietra di fiume, letti e decori in ferro battuto antico con coperte ricamate a mano, insegne, stemmi e cifre. I solai come una volta sono costruiti in travi in legno di castagno e mattoni in cotto fatto "a mano". Per dare colore inoltre alle pareti vi sono appese opere d'arte su tela del proprietario in stile contemporaneo.
Casa Ruggeri:
Sulla sinistra all'inizio del borgo in un antico convento si trova Casa Ruggeri, una struttura interamente in pietra con contrafforti alla base. Essa offre due confortevoli appartamenti denominati i Bastioni e la Macina. Come erano i conventi medioevali la casa è strutturata in pieno rispetto a quello che rappresentava un tempo, per questo possiamo ammirare le mura molto ampie, le finestre piccole con scale interne in lastroni di fiume scolpiti a mano, stemmi e numeri romani alle pareti.
Mentre al piano terra è collocata l'Enoteca o Bottega di vendita e degustazione di prodotti tipici toscani. Anch'essa ricostruita seguendo i canoni di rappresentazione antica cioè di una stalla per cavalli è molto accogliente e suggestiva. Qui, è piacevole passare le ore seduti nei classici tavoli toscani a gustarsi del buon vino rosso, associato a stuzzicanti formaggi pecorini della zona. |

Villa Pratesi
The Villa, dating back to 1700, is located inside the medieval hamlet and it s composed of two apartments with swimming pool and park, both restored and furnished following the typical traditional warm tuscan architecture.
The apartments are still enriched by old objects and features belonging to the past activity and life of the place (e.g. the olive press, long tables, typical poor art furniture, ancient fireplaces made of river stones, ancient wrought iron beds with hand embroidered blankets, coat of arms etc..). The ceilings are made of traditional chestnut beams and hand-made cotto tiles. The walls are embellished with contemporary art paintings.
Casa Ruggeri:
The house stands at the beginning of the hamlet, inside an ancient monastery. The house structure is made of stone and it is composed of two cosy apartments named i Bastioni and la Macina . The building internally maintains the structure of a medieval monastery: thick walls, small windows, internal staircases made of large hand-cut river stones, coat of arms and roman numbers on the walls.
The enoteca (wine & typical tuscan products shop) is on the ground floor and it was restored according to the old stables style, thus offering a welcoming and charming atmosphere. It s very pleasant to spend some time here, sitting at the typical tuscan tables while tasting good red wine along with local pecorino cheese appetizers. |

Die Liegenschaft umfasst zwei sanierte Haeuser, ein kleines Restaurant/Probierstube und einen extra Garten fuer Veranstaltungen :
Villa Pratesi:
Die 1700 gegründete Herrenvilla befindet sich in der mittelalterlichenDorfmitte von Duddova und bietet drei umfassend sanierte und typisch toskanisch möblierten Wohnungen mit Schwimmbad und Park an.
In der Villa befinden sich Ueberbleibsel aus frueheren Zeiten wie z.B. eine alte Ölpresse, antike Möbelstücke und Kommode, antike Steinkamine, Betten und Ornamente in altem Schmiedeeisendesign mit handbestickten Decken, Wappenbilder und Monigramme.
Im Garten der Villa Pratesi, wo sich das Schwimmbad (4,56x7,31m) und das Gazebo befinden, werden inmitten von Krügen mit Schlehbusch und Töpfen aus Terrakotta, duftende Jasminblüten, Flieder, Kapernsträuche, Oliven- und Feigenbäume sorgfältig und mit Liebe von Frau Rinetta gepflegt.
Ruggeri House:
In einem antiken mittelalterlichen Kloster am Anfang des Dorfes befindet sich die Casa Ruggeri. Die kloesterliche Struktur aus Naturstein, maechtigen Mauern, Treppen aus großen mit Hand behauenen Steinplatten, Monogrammen und römischen Ziffern an den Wänden. verleiht den beiden Ferienwohnungen ein ganz besonderes Ambiente.
Im Erdgeschoß befindet sich die Weinstube, die typische toskanische Produkte anbietet. Auch dieser damalige Pferdenstall wurde anhand historischer Vorgaben wieder aufgebaut.
In dieser wohnlichen Atmosphäre sitzt man gern stundenlang vor einem Glas guten Rotewein.
